Find the clarity that allows everything else to fall away

I work with people who sense there is more — more aliveness, more knowing, more freedom — and are ready to do the real work of finding it.

About Vanessa

"I had everything the world said should make me happy — and still, something was missing."

Vanessa Vinceré

A 5,500 square-foot home. Fifty acres on Maui with an oceanview that stopped people mid-sentence. A husband who adored me. Time, freedom, money. And still — something was missing.

I looked everywhere. New businesses. Graduate school. More social life. Nothing landed. It wasn't until I found myself deep in a meditation school that something shifted. Not in the way I expected — I thought I'd find certainty, a clear identity, a permanent sense of knowing. What I found instead was something better: fluidity. The ability to redefine myself at any moment. To celebrate what is true right now rather than chase a fixed version of who I'm supposed to be.

That's what I help my clients find.

I came to this work through the body first. I arrived on Maui in 2002 and became a personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and yoga teacher. I learned that transformation isn't abstract — it's felt. When my first mentor told me my least favorite body part would become my favorite, I didn't believe him. He was right. That experience taught me what's possible when someone sees the version of you that you can't yet see yourself.

Over the years I added Inner Space Techniques (IST) to my practice — a meditation-based method of regression therapy developed by Samuel Sagan, MD, and the Clairvision School of Meditation. IST works below the surface of the conscious mind, tracing repeated emotional patterns back to their source and neutralizing the charge held there. It is precise, practical, and profound — and it changed everything about how I work with people.

Today, based in Reno, Nevada, I offer one-on-one IST sessions and lead Awakening the Third Eye workshops, teaching techniques for developing inner vision, managing energy, quieting the mind, and accessing deeper states of consciousness.

I meet clients where they are, and I have a particular gift for seeing the part of them that is already where they want to be. I don't have all the answers. I never promised that. I do have the tools, the training, and the lived experience to walk alongside you as you find your own.

IST Sessions

IST works below the surface of the conscious mind — tracing the emotional patterns you can't think your way out of back to their source, and neutralizing the charge held there. The result is not a reframe or a coping strategy. It is a genuine shift.

What to expect

Sessions are 60–90 minutes, held in-person in Reno or virtually. You are fully present and aware throughout — no hypnosis, no altered state imposed from outside. No prior meditation experience is needed.

Most people find real clarity within 1–3 sessions. Some continue for deeper, sustained work. There is no pressure to commit to more than feels right for you.

Who it's for

People who have already done work — therapy, coaching, meditation — and keep running into the same wall. People ready to go to the source rather than manage the surface.

  • Resolution of recurring emotional patterns

What is IST?

"Beyond the conscious surface-level of the mind lie forces that shape personality, cause stress, or ill-health. IST is a way to find them — and free yourself from them."

Inner Space Techniques was developed over 20 years by Samuel Sagan, MD, with a team of doctors, psychologists, and health practitioners at the Clairvision School of Meditation. It is a precise method of inner exploration — not hypnotherapy, not talk therapy. You remain fully conscious throughout.

The process works with samskaras — Sanskrit for "scars of the mind." These are the imprints left by past experiences that continue to shape how we feel and react, long after the original event has passed. IST traces a pattern back to its source, revisits it from a different standpoint, and neutralizes the charge held there.

The result is not a reframe or a coping strategy. It is a genuine shift — more peace, more clarity, more of your actual self.

What Clients Say

"Working with Vanessa was a deeply profound experience. Through the work, we were able to do some somatic release and uncover a deep root cause of my issues. In the days after, I felt more open and relaxed in my body and clear in my perspective. Vanessa's presence was safe and loving — I felt held by her, without judgement or fear."

Fawni Ruhf  ·  Intuitive

"Her kind, compassionate and professional demeanor immediately put me at ease and allowed me to be vulnerable and open — even during my very first session. I consider my time spent working with Vanessa to be pivotal to the success I achieved navigating my struggles. The therapy is a great tool, but Vanessa's loving intention and dedication were the most powerful part."

Sarah Prikryl  ·  Registered Nurse

"Vanessa holds a pure clear space as she serves from an open heart. Her gifts to the world are remarkable and I encourage you to experience the love Vanessa has to share. I will keep referring clients to her and utilize her services in the future."

Dr. Valerie Lane Simonsen  ·  Naturopathic Physician

"She guided — not pushed — and held — not babied — me through a wave of emotions that I didn't even realize I needed to let go of. My IST session with Vanessa provided me with the clarity I needed to feel confident in moving forward. I am blessed to have Vanessa in my life."

Jeannine Bourque  ·  Writer

"Vanessa is SOLID — deepness itself. I feel like I am lying in the grass, full of delight and ease. As a physical therapist with a major in biomechanics, I find this revelation compellingly elegant. To sum it up: this process is consciousness researching itself."

Jade L Brown  ·  Physical Therapist

"Before, during, and after my IST sessions with Vanessa, I felt not only accepted, but fully embraced in a way that gave me the courage to start the healing process my soul was seeking. She masterfully created a peaceful, safe, meditative space. This is powerful, consciousness-raising work."

Common Questions

What actually happens in a session?

You'll lie down comfortably with your eyes closed. I'll guide you into a light meditative state — nothing imposed, nothing dramatic. From there we locate the emotional charge behind whatever pattern we're working with, trace it back to its origin, and neutralize it. You're awake and present the entire time. Most people describe it as surprisingly gentle and unexpectedly deep.

Is this like hypnotherapy?

No. In hypnotherapy, the practitioner typically guides you into an altered state and suggests new patterns. In IST, you remain fully conscious and do the inner work yourself — I'm alongside you, not directing the experience. There's no suggestion, no trance, no loss of awareness.

Do I need meditation experience?

None at all. I work with complete beginners and longtime meditators alike. The only thing required is a willingness to look inward honestly.

How is this different from talk therapy?

Talk therapy works at the level of the thinking mind — understanding, reframing, finding new perspectives. IST works below that. We're not talking about the pattern; we're finding where it lives and releasing the charge held there. Many of my clients come to me after years of therapy that helped them understand their patterns but couldn't shift them.

Do I have to be in Reno, or can we work remotely?

Both work well. I see clients in person in Reno and virtually via video or phone. IST translates surprisingly well to remote sessions — the inner space doesn't require physical proximity.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on what you're working with and how deep you want to go. I suggest starting with one session to see if the work resonates. Many people notice something real after the first session. From there, some do a handful of sessions and find what they came for. Others choose to go deeper over time. There's no pressure to commit beyond what feels right.

What should I expect after a session?

Often a sense of lightness or spaciousness — like something that was held has been set down. Sometimes things continue to integrate over the following days. Occasionally people feel tired afterward, which is normal. I always recommend giving yourself some quiet time after a session rather than rushing back into a full schedule.

Is this connected to a religion?

No. IST was developed by Samuel Sagan, MD, through the Clairvision School of Meditation, which draws from ancient wisdom traditions but is not affiliated with any religion. People from all backgrounds and belief systems — including none — work with IST.

What if I'm skeptical?

Skepticism is fine — it won't interfere with the work. IST isn't about belief. You don't need to believe in anything for the process to work. What matters is your willingness to show up and look honestly at what's there.

Who is this work best suited for?

People who have already done some form of inner work — therapy, coaching, meditation — and keep running into the same wall. People who sense something is there beneath the surface and are ready to find it. People who want resolution, not just management.
